Erin founded Wilson Laegeler Law LLC in 2024 and focuses on municipal representation, civil appeals, and transactional matters for individuals. Erin is an Assistant State's Attorney in Adams County, where she handles civil and various criminal matters for Adams County and serves as advisor to the Adams County Board and its shareholders.
Erin is a former partner at Blickhan, Timmerwilke, Woodworth & Wilson Laegeler in Quincy, Illinois, where she handled a variety of civil and ciminal cases and served as corporate counsel for several municipalities and townships. Prior to her time at BTWWL, Erin served as a law clerk to the Honorable Joe Billy McDade, an Assistant Appellate Prosecutor for the Illinois State’s Attorney’s Appellate Prosecutor’s Office, and a Research Attorney for the Fourth District Illinois Appellate Court.
Erin is an alumna of the University of Illinois Springfield, where she obtained a dual B.A. in Legal Studies and Political Science, and the Charlotte School of Law, where she obtained her J.D. In law school, she was involved in several extracurriculars including Law Review, Moot Court, Phi Delta Phi. Currently, she serves as Vice President for the Central Illinois Women’s Bar Association and is a mentor in the Illinois State Bar Association’s Lawyer-to-Lawyer Mentorship Program.
Erin lives in Rushville with her husband, Chuck Laegeler. As animal lovers, they care for a menagerie of pets including four dogs and a cat.
